Raphael is a civil and environmental engineer with more than 15 years of experience in providing consulting services to public clients and international organizations. He worked as an environmental engineer with AECOM for some 7 years specializing in a variety of environmental protection projects and low carbon/climate resilient urban infrastructure development. In 2014, Raphael commenced and developed the highly successful NAREE International Limited, headquartered in Hong Kong and supported by offices in Beijing, Shanghai, Nanjing and Chengdu. More recently Raphael has taken up the role of Managing Director with Urbanlogic, an initiative which provides a strong foundation for the diversification and expansion of Urbanlogic capability into the complexities of urban sustainability, climate resilience adaptation and disaster risk management. Raphael now leads this initiative. Raphael is a chartered engineer in Australia (MIEAust, CPEng) and in Hong Kong (MHKIE).

Dr. Jianping Yan is a distinguished specialist in climate and disaster risk management and resilience. He has a career spanning over 25 years dedicated to integrated climate and disaster risk assessment at all scales, integrated solutions for climate and disaster risk governance, urban and infrastructure resilience, and disaster risk information management. As an adjunct professor and senior technical advisor at the Centre of Excellence for Risk Analysis and Management (CERAM Shanghai) at Shanghai Normal University, China, he spearheads research on urban risk management and resilience, developing cutting-edge methodologies and tools that have become benchmarks for the industry. His work transcends geographical boundaries, having offered his expertise to more than 60 countries across Africa, Asia, Europe, and the Americas, and served as a disaster risk assessment specialist in UNDP from 2006 to 2016, thereby significantly contributing to global efforts in disaster risk reduction and climate change adaptation.

Mr. Requito V. Bellosillo, a registered architect and environmental planner is a seasoned urban and regional development specialist with over three decades of experience in urban planning, infrastructure development, and climate-resilient city strategies. With professional practice spanning across Asia, the Pacific, and Africa, he has provided leadership in more than 20 large-scale multilateral development projects financed by the ADB, WB, and other international agencies. His core expertise lies in spatial and regional planning, climate change adaptation, infrastructure investment planning, urban policy reform, and institutional capacity strengthening. Mr. Bellosillo has served as a team leader and international urban planner on strategic urban development projects across Bangladesh, the Philippines, Kenya, Tonga, and the Pacific Islands, among others. His project experience includes preparing climate-resilient infrastructure investment plans, leading urban vulnerability assessments, integrating geospatial analytics into planning, and formulating city-region development frameworks aligned with climate action priorities.

Mr. Gregor Herda is a multi-disciplinary urban development and geospatial data specialist with over a decade of experience in the urban domain. In recent years, he has been focusing particularly on applying Geographic Information Systems (GIS), remote sensing, and public finance analytics to sustainable urban planning and infrastructure development. He has extensive project experience across South and Southeast Asia, as well as Sub-Saharan Africa, working with major international financial institutions, including the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB), Asian Development Bank (ADB), World Bank (WB), and other multilaterals such as UN-Habitat and the European Space Agency (ESA). Mr. Herda has led and co-led large-scale projects for AIIB in water supply and sanitation, urban transport, and social housing, while currently supporting projects on smart cities, climate-resilient urban development, and the advancement of Earth Observation (EO) for development assistance. He held senior roles at GAF AG managing the ESA-financed Urban Sustainability activity that supported multilateral development banks in using EO/GIS for urban investment projects. He also served as Regional Housing Advisor at UN-Habitat, where he, among other roles, coordinated India’s draft National Urban Housing and Habitat Policy. He brings strong technical, financial, and policy analysis skills to complex urban and regional development initiatives worldwide.

Hang is an environmental engineering and management specialist who has worked extensively with the international financial institutions and in private sector consulting, the latter with a strong emphasis on the design and management of sustainable infrastructure projects in the water/wastewater sectors. Recently Han has developed a strong consultant management profile with both the ADB and UN Habitat built around sustainable environments, low carbon development, environmental restoration and climate change resilience. Han developed a very strong management and consulting profile with the Asian Development Bank (urban development, environment and health) and UN Habitat (sustaianable urban development), bult around sustainable environments, low carbon development, environmental restoration and climate resilience, a skills set now available to Urbanlogic.
