This project developed a comprehensive urban disaster risk profile for disaster risk reduction and resilience investment planning for Shanghai by using the data collected through the first National Disaster Risk Census (NDRC) of China (2020-2022). The risk profile covers major hazards prevailing in Shanghai, including earthquakes, land subsidence, typhoon, flood, storm surge, sea level risk, referring to affected populations, households, residential buildings, critical facilities and networked infrastructure.
